The Women’s Nike Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet 2022” is the women’s sizing of the 2022 reissue of the original colorway of the iconic retro running shoe. Created by Nike footwear designer Christian Tresser in 1997, the Air Max 97 is considered one of the very best Air Max models in the collection’s history. Its “Silver Bullet” colorway is revered by the sneaker community. On the modern version, which was re-released in 2022 in celebration of both the Air Max 97’s 25th anniversary, the shoe’s base is featured in Metallic Silver, as are the tonal wavy leather overlays that wrap around the shoe. A small University Red Swoosh appears on either side above the white foam midsole. The logo is also found on the circular black overlay on the tongue. Red “Air Max” detailing is printed on the heel tab. A full-length Max Air cushioning unit in the midsole completes the design. Release date: November 11, 2022
